Beccy Rork runs the highly popular band Saxshop with Charlotte Glasson. 

Saxshop is a community saxophone ensemble based in the Brighton & Hove area  formed by Simon D’Souza in 2003.  

In 2005 Beccy joined Simon and they co-led the band.  Beccy was joined by trombonist Mark Bassey when Simon began teaching at Chichester College in 2009.

When Mark left for his other commitments in 2018, Saxshop were fortunate to welcome multi~instrumentalist  Charlotte Glasson to co-lead Saxshop.

The ensemble features players of all levels performing on a variety of               saxophones from soprano to baritone.

Saxshop has played at many events, the Peace Picnic, Burning of The Clocks,

The Olympic Torch Parade, two performances of 100 Saxophones, The Birdcage Bandstand in Hove, playing for visitors at Lilac Park and the Pavilion Cafe and many other events while raising money for various charities.The emphasis is on fun and playing all types of music in a friendly and happy atmosphere.  Saxshop music here  beccyrork@gmail.com
